Your Privacy is Important to Us
OUR COMMITMENT
We are committed to providing our clients with excellent service.
All information that comes to the GRB Enterprises Ltd./GRB College
of Welding shall be treated in the strictest of confidence. Our service
agreement stipulates that we will not disclose information about our
clients that is of a confidential nature.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
To develop a business partnership with you, we require specific personal
information to provide the requested products, services and advice.
Depending on your business needs, the information that we gather about
you varies. We define “personal information” as information oral,
electronic or written about an identifiable individual, including
(but not limited to):
Name, address and telephone number
Email address
Educational qualifications
Employment history
Credit card information
Exam/test results
Social Insurance Number (Only required if taking
a tax deductible course.)
PURPOSE
Common purposes for which we collect this information are to:
Identify you
Assess your eligibility
Provide you with products and services, facilitate
communications, and to respond to enquiries
Provide technical information to you
Provide proof of qualifications
To ensure you meet the requirements of applicable
standards
Government requirements
Corporate governance activities
YOUR RIGHTS
As a valued client of GRB Enterprises Ltd./GRB College of Welding,
you have the right to access your personal information and request
changes if required. It is your legal right to choose not to provide
us with some or all of your personal information, or to deny us the
use for disclosure of your information for certain purposes. Should
you exercise this right, we will not unreasonably withhold requested
products or services; however, certain information must be provided
in order to supply the requested products or services.
DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your information within the seperate divisions of
GRB Enterprises Ltd. Before using your personal information for any
purpose other than those listed, we will explain the purpose and obtain
your consent. We do not sell client lists or disclose your personal
information except where required by law.
Information may be released to GRB Enterprises Ltd. clients concerning
their own files as directed by the client.
SECURING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We are responsible for protecting your proprietary information and
confidential data against loss, theft or misuse. In order to protect
your personal information and right to privacy, we will:
Retain the information only for as long as we
need it to fulfill the stated purpose or as required by law
Maintain your personal information in as accurate,
complete and up to date a form as possible
Respond to requests you make to access or correct
the personal information we hold about you
Safeguard your information in a secure environment
and limit access to those who “need to know”

We will respond to you promptly and do our utmost to resolve your
concerns.
WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
GRB warrants to the original end-user purchaser that this product,
shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal
and proper use in accordance with GRB instructions and industry
best practices for a period of three (3) months after the original
date of purchase. During this period, the products may be returned
for a refund, repair or replacement with equivalent products at
our discretion. The warranty covers parts and labor costs only (see
limitation of liability below). This warranty is subject to the
limitations set forth below.
- Product defects which result from normal wear
and tear, negligence, misuse, or accidents are not covered under
warranty.
- Product returns due to product defects in materials
or workmanship will be fully refunded or exchanged.
- For hygiene reasons we can not take returns on
clothing (shirts, hats, jackets etc.) that have been washed or
worn.
- A 20% restocking fee MAY be applied to returned
retail products manufactured by companies other than GRB.
- A 20% restocking fee MAY be applied to GRB produced
products. (Tri-pods, Roller Heads, Fabrication Tents & Accessories)
- Practice hours purchased but not used will be
held for a maximum of 6 (six) months from the date of purchase.
- Students taking courses at GRB are covered under
Alberta Regulation 66/94 of the Private Vocational Schools Act
- Retention and Repayment of Fees. Every student attending GRB
College of Welding will sign and receive an original copy of this
Act. GRB College of Welding will keep a copy of the Private Vocational
Schools Act form that you sign.
- Defective products purchased from but not produced
by GRB Enterprises Ltd. are covered by the original equipment
manufacturers warranty.
- Retail products purchased from but not produced
by GRB Enterprises Ltd. must be returned within 30 days and is
subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned for any reason other
than defective material or workmanship.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall the liability of GRB Enterprises
Ltd., GRB College of Welding or GRB Welding Products (or its officers,
directors, employees or agents) for any damages (whether direct or
indirect, special, punitive, incidental, consequential, or otherwise),
loss of profits, loss of business, or any other pecuniary loss, arising
out of or related to the use of the product exceed the actual price
paid for the product. Some provinces may not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If such laws apply,
the limitations or exclusions contained in this statement may not
apply to you.
SHIPPING
Your order will be processed without delay and all
in-stock, available merchandise, will be shipped within 48 hours.
Please allow 30 business days for delivery of items not in stock.
You will be informed of product availability at the time you place
your order. The cost of shipping is NOT included in the price of the
products we sell. All orders are sent (shipping C.O.D.) via the carrier
of your choice. Companies will be invoiced for purchases on the day
that the order is shipped.

between the hours 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (GMT) and 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
