If you are not a resident of Canada and wish to train at GRB College
of Welding, we can accomodate you under the following conditions:
You must understand and speak fluent English.
(We do not have multi-linqual instructors.)
You have made the appropriate arrangement for
entry into Canada and you are permitted to stay the full length
of your training.
You have made pre-arrangements for your living
accomodations.
You have arranged full payment for the training
you will be taking. (Canadian or US dollars only please.Training
can not start until full payment has been received.)
You must understand that the training you receive
will not entitle you to apply for jobs in Canada. We can deliver
skills training to international students but we can not deliver
pre-employment or certificate training.
To become a welder in Canada you must first be
a Canadian resident and go through the 3 year Alberta Apprenticeship
training program.(www.tradesecrets.org)
Please be aware that Canadian and or Provincial
Funding is only available to Canadian residents.
